POA will comply with this requirement.
All firmware will be checked and updated, if needed, when performing service calls/maintenance.
POA will provide all firmware updates as needed when performing service calls or preventative maintenance.
Large copiers must have the ability to print Tabs
Proposed equipment meets this requirement.
Prior to the delivery and set-up of all equipment, the Infonnation Technology Department would like to
have the hardware/MAC address as well as the copier model number, options, and accessories for each unit
to be installed.
A certified, experienced POA network technician will coordinate with the Information Technology Department
to ensure that all County IT requirements have been met.
POA will input all network information, email
addresses and other information as desired prior to delivery and installation.
The Vendor shall establish a procedure for sanitizing all fixed storage media (e g. disk drives) at the
completion of the contract and/or before it
is returned for maintenance or reuse.
Acceptable sanitizing
procedures include removmg the hard disk from the copier and subjecting it to a hard disk degaussing
machine or attaching the hard disk to a PC and using DBAN on it.
Copier operating system based
sanitizing is not acceptable.
Sanitization must happen while the equipment is on the county premises and
in the presence of County Information Technology (IT) staff. The County IT Department has authority as
to determine an appropriate method of sanitizing should there be further questions. If media cannot be
successfully sanitized see item #27.
POA will provide our HDD Disk Sanitization Process at no additional charge to Douglas County upon termination
of any agreement resulting from this RFP. We will remove, sanitize and return the HDD to Douglas County and
provide certification documentation.
