With the pressure on to conserve energy wherever possible,
you’ll be pleased to know that these Energy Star certified
MFPs have an exceptionally low Total Energy Consumption
(TEC) rating. And that directly relates to how much energy
you use, the size of your carbon footprint and how much
the MFP costs to run.
Right from the start, we looked at every conceivable way of
reducing energy consumption. We chose energy-efficient
LED lamps for the scanner, for instance. And incorporated
an Eco Scan feature that keeps the fuser roller turned
off for scanning, but switches it back on for printing and
copying, keeping energy consumption to a minimum.
Our MFPs can even learn your typical usage patterns and
automatically shut down when they predict that you won’t
be using it. Plus, you can set a regular schedule to turn the
power on or off - in mornings and evening, for example.
In addition, operators are prompted with ‘Eco
Recommendations’ - messages displayed on the control
panel which suggest ways to work more economically when
copying and printing.
