Basic Operation Panel Layout
Our conventional models have various hard keys: power source, energy saving, home, copy start (both B/W and
colour), system settings, job status, proof copy, and number keys. The MX-M1204 / MX-M1054 / MX-M904 only
have three hard keys, power source, energy saving, and home keys. Except for the above keys, the MX-M1204 /
MX-M1054 / MX-M904 feature various soft keys, which give the following advantages:
1. Preventing potential mistakes in operation.
2. The intuitive panel makes it easier to use and navigate.
3. Changes the place of keys for higher priority features.
In addition, the main mode of the MX-M1204 / MX-M1054 / MX-M904 have changed from conventional models;
“Fax” and “Scan to Email” modes replaces “Image Send” mode.
Favourite
Users can register or edit frequently used features as their favourite from ‘my favourite’ menu or each feature
screen.
Action Panel
The action panel appears on the right side of the basic screen of each feature. The panel displays the link button
and/or message related to the current displayed screen by proposing the next operation. It allows users to
choose the desired feature quickly.
Program
Although the program registration method is different between Copy and Image Send, the job program is the
same. Users can register the job program easier than before. The maximum number of job programs that users
can register is 48 plus 1 for preset. In addition, users easily call the registered program by pressing the “Call
Program” displayed on the action panel/ home screen. They can also register the paper type for bypass tray.
