Screen Setting (New!)
To enhance image quality, especially for documents that include both photo and text, the MX-M1204 /
MX-M1054 / MX-M904 can automatically analyse the contents of each page, distinguishing three different
segments according to significant elements, text, photo and graphic; and adjusts the number of lines accordingly
(Default mode).
A low number of lines (Low screen) is suitable to display gradational or granular images, a high number of lines
(High screen) is suitable to reproduce text and/or fine lines and to reduce jagged edges. A very high number of
lines (Super high screen) are more suitable to reproduce fine lines and small texts. In addition to the default
mode, users can manually select the following four modes, text/photo, text, photo, and fine text, depending on
the original users will print.
Note: This mode can be used only when users choose high quality or fine on the print mode. In the case of normal mode, low screen mode is
applied to all area including text, graphic, and photo same as MX-M1100 / MX-M950 / MX-M850.
