This software provides you with a personal, PC desktop based system for managing scanned
images and electronic file documents.
 Security Functions

Confidential Print
This function is part of the ‘Retention Print’ function. ‘Hold after Print with PIN or Pass Code’
is called ‘Confidential Print.’
This feature requires the user to enter a personal ID number on the MFP before printing can
begin.
Data Security Kit
With the optional Data Security Kit, data that has been scanned for copying or printing is
automatically cleared from storage after the job is finished.
It can also encrypt certain type of data
, and provide Document Control Function (See next
page.)
Disabling of List
Print
Network settings and private information such as IP addresses and address books are stored
in the main unit. The printout of this data can be disabled to guard against unauthorised
outside access.

Forwards all sent/received documents into. e-mail, ‘FTP’, ‘desktop’ and ‘ Network Folder’ to
the administrator

Control
This is one of the copy / printer functions. (Optional data security kit is required.)
It prints invisible ‘dot pattern’ on printouts, and if Sharp MFP with Data Security Kit scans this
output, MFP will stop (or print/send blank page data).
This prevents unauthorised copying, scanning, faxing and filing of confidential documents.
