Transmission
After the connection is established and the fax signal from the other machine is confirmed,
scanning begins without using memory.
F-Code
F-Code is a standard established by the ITU-T to ensure greater security and confidentiality in
fax transmissions.
Until now, special communication (for example, ‘confidential transmission’ and ‘relay
broadcast transmission’) could only be performed with another Sharp fax machine.
However, these functions are now possible with other fax machines, as other manufacturers
have started to support F-Code.
Inbound Routing
Incoming faxes are categorised according to the senders fax number and they can be
transferred by an e-mail.
Page Numbering Numbers incoming fax pages when printing them out.
PC-Fax Sends data directly from a PC to a fax machine without printing the data on a paper.
Polling
Polling is the process that verifies the readiness of another fax machine to send and receive
information. To do so, information must already be stored on that machine in “polling
memory.” This process can also be performed in reverse by scanning a document to polling
memory on your fax machine as the information for the recipient fax machine.
Quick On-line
Transmission
Sends a multiple-page document as soon as the first page is scanned into memory.
Recall Mode If the recipient is busy, it tries to resend the document after a certain period of time.

Print Hold
Allows users not to print out the incoming faxes.
Rotate
Transmission
The MX-M1100/950/850 series is set by default to rotate a vertically placed original so that it
is oriented horizontally before transmission.

Files can be given a name with up to 30 characters. File names (job name + saved date) can
be automatically generated for files in Standard Folders.

Searching Searches files via the touch-screen LCD control panel.
