Object Control Enables setting of items such as fonts and graphics modes.

Paper Selection
(Paper Type)
Configures the type of paper in paper tray via the printer driver user interface. (For example,
plain, recycled, coloured, heavy paper, transparency)
Certain printer functions can be restricted automatically according to the paper type.
PCL Setting Enables setting changes when printing in PCL.
Print Density Level Selects the print density level.
Resolution setting
Selects the printing resolution. (300 dpi, 600 dpi. in case of using optional PS driver,
1200x600.)
Retention
The user can store output in the HDD and retrieve it by using three modes.
[Advance]
The three modes are ‘hold after print’, ‘hold before print’ and ‘proof print’.
Hold after Print
The data is printed and then stored.
Hold beforePrint
(Hold Only)
The data is stored, not printed.
Proof Print
(Sample Print)
Only one set is printed, and then the data is stored.
ROPM (RIP Once /
Print Many)
Downloads and stores large multi-page print data to memory once, and re-uses the data to
process multiple print sets.
Rotate 180 Degrees Prints jobs rotate 180°.
Tandem Print
Connects one MFP to another MFP within the MX-M850/950/1100 series and this way
shares printing jobs between two machines.
Toner Save Prints using less toner than the usual amount.
Transparency
Insert
Places blank insert sheets between transparent sheets when printing onto transparent film.
Watermarks Prints a watermark such as “IMPORTANT” or “CONFIDENTIAL” onto printouts.
