The EFI Fiery Print Controller supports Genuine Adobe PostScript3 and PCL6/5e printer language
emulation.
Adobe PostScript3 provides better graphics handling and compatibility with more fonts.
PCL6/se and Adobe PS3 make sure that what you see on your computer screen is what you will see on
printed paper. (refers to layout only. Colour data will be converted into B/W data.)
[Command workstation]
The EFI Fiery Print Controller lets you manipulate jobs that have already
been printed. The jobs can be stored in HDD and retrieved at any stage.
[Fiery FreeForm / Fiery FreeForm 2]
MX-PEX3 Fiery print controller has two tools for Variable Data Printing.
Basic ‘Fiery FreeForm’ RIPs master data once, adds variable data on
databases, and prints personalised ouput with MFP’s rated engine speed
or with a speed close to this. Advanced ‘Fiery FreeForm 2’ has several added features compared to ‘Fiery
FreeForm’. It allows users to pick and choose individual pages from a multiple page master file, for
instance. ‘Fiery FreeForm 2’ provides even gretaer personalisation of the output and flexible VDP
applications.
