Data handling has been enhanced on the MX-7040N / MX-6240N, for example users can use the MFP’s HDD as
NAS (Network Attached Storage), and share/edit the document filing data. The optional Mirroring Kit, MX-EB15,
is a second hard drive which enables data back up of those files stored on the HDD.
 66BAutomatic Main Charger Cleaning (New!)
If black or coloured lines appear even after users have cleaned the document glass and automatic document
feeder, they must use the charger cleaner to clean the main charger that charges the drum manually on
conventional models. The MX-7040N / MX-6040N can automatically clean the main charger, thus saving the
user valuable time whilst ensuring that the MFP can output more stable, high quality images.
Even if one HDD is broken, the
data can be secured and
retrieved.
