The MX-7040N / MX-6240N offer the retention mode (RGB_RIP), suitable when users want to resend/reprint
the printed data stored in the MFP’s HDD for a long time. Although conventional models cannot resend the
print data stored in the HDD, the MX-7040N / MX-6240N can do this. In addition, whenever users reprint the
printed data stored in the HDD, they can always get the same result. In other words, the colour tone of
printed data does not change. We can also say that the colour of thumbnail images is expressed with the
colour of original image. This is the same as MX-5112N / MX-4112N.

The MX-7040N / MX-6240N can feed various types of papers including banner paper. When some sheets of paper
curl, they may disturb the stable copy/print process. By putting pressure on convex/ concave curl, the machine
can correct curl in the paper. It is able to adjust the correction in 10 steps.
Note: When users install 100-sheet finisher (MX-FN21) or 100-sheet saddle finisher (MX-FN22), the curl correction unit
(MX-RB15) and paper pass unit (MX-RB12) are required. (For further details, please see Mandatory Options).


