Error Diffusion for Colour Copy (Upgraded!)
When users choose text or map mode on the original image type manually, the small text reproduction is
enhanced. Previous models (MX-7001N / MX-6201N) adopted dither method which sometimes caused text
edges to be blurred. The MX-7040N / MX-6240N adopt the error diffusion method. This prevents blurring and
enables the reproduction of smoother lines.

Enhanced Background Suppression (Upgraded!)
One of the Auto Colour mode functions is automatic background suppression. In the case of previous models
(MX-7001N / MX-6201N), the background colour was more suppressed, therefore, the colour balance was
imbalanced. The MX-7040N / MX-6240N can suppress the background without losing the colour balance i.e.
ratio of RGB. This decreases the change of colour shade.
