The infrared illuminator comes with weatherproof casing, running on 12V DC that
can be drawn from a camera power supply cable.
This illuminator will largely improve the nightvision for the camera if the
camera is sensible to infrared wavelength 850nm.
One application is to light up an area where a camera is hidden somewhere. Many
end users worry about cameras would being vandalized when the grow infared leds
may help vandals to find cameras in the dark.
