The main feature of the camera is the separation of the infrared and the lens.
People who have experienced outdoor IR cameras, found that IR reflection is
a frustrating technical problem - clear pictures during a day, fuzzy and bright
at night.
An outdoor camera would get nothing to view at night if it does not have a
built-in IR filter, or its minimum illumination is too high. Besides these reasons,
one popular problem is the IR reflection resulted by the IR position. This camera
is to solve the problem.
The bigger size of the lens ensures getting better picture than a board lens.
The strong IR draws 750mA current of 12V DC when the IR is on. Suggest 1A or
1.5A power supply for the camera.
The effective IR distance is about 20 - 40 meters.
