Tuning
Notes:
! When radio interference occurs, auto scan tuning may
stop automatically at that point.
! Auto scan tuning will skip weak signal stations.
! To stop auto tuning, press the or button again.
After use:
Press the :OFF button. The power turns off.
You can listen to the radio by connecting the optional
FM/AM tuner remote control (AD-TRC1) to the main
unit.
In the tuner mode, you can use the remote control. But-
tons on the main unit are disabled (except the :OFF,
and REC buttons).

Press the TUNER ON/BAND button until
"FM" or "AM" appears in the display.
! The power turns on.
! If you switch to the tuner whilst playing MD, play-
back automatically stops.
! During MD recording or editing, the TUNER/
BAND button does not work.

Press the or button to tune in to the
desired station.
Manual tuning:
Press the or button as many times as re-
quired to tune in to the desired station.
Auto tuning:
When the or button is pressed for 1 second or
more, scanning will start automatically and the tuner
will stop at the first receivable broadcast station.
