Basic adjustment settings
Channel memory setting
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays,
Press _1/1_ to select "Setup",
Press a,/V to select "CH Setup", and then
press ENTER,
• Ir you already set the Secret No., input the 4-
digit secret number here, See page 69 for
setting a secret number,
Press a,/V to select "CH Memory", and then
press ENTER,
Press a,/V to selectANALOG, DIGITAL (Air),
DIGITAL (Cable) and CableCARD, and then
press ENTER,
In order to receive digital air broadcasts, you need a
digital broadcast antenna, You can confirm the antenna
configuration through the "Antenna Setup - DIGITAL"
screen,
If necessary, adjust the direction of the antenna to
obtain the maximum signal strength,
Signal Strength
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.
Press _1/1_ to select "Setup".
Press a,/V to select "Antenna Setup -
DIGITAL", and then press ENTER,
• If you already set the Secret No., input the 4-
digit secret number here, See page 69 for
setting a secret number,
Perform the following steps after confirming
the type of antenna connection made with
your TV, and the channel type selected in
Step 5,
When viewing ANALOG broadcasts:
Press A/T, and then press _1/1_ to select
the channel to skip or not.
Press A/T to select "Skip", and then press
_1/1_ to select "On" or "Off".
When viewing DIGITAL broadcasts:
Press A/T to select the channel to skip or
not, and then press _1/1_ to select "On" or
"Off",
• On: Skips channels. (Channel selection disabled using
CHA/V.)
• Off: Does not skip channels. (Channel selection enabled
using CH/_/V= )
Press a,/V to select "Signal Strength",
• The signal strength orthe DIGITAL (Air) antenna
is displayed. The signal information is based
on the current channel,
Channel Strength
• The channel signal strength carl also be checked
separately,
• Make sure what kind or connection is made with your TV,
Repeat steps 1 to 3 in Signal Strength in
Antenna Setup - DIGITAL - Air.
Press a,/V to select "Channel Strength", and
then press ENTER,
Input the 2-digit channel number to check
the signal strength of the selected channel,
• Make sure the appropriate signal strength or
each channel received is obtained.
• This function is available for DIGITAL (Air) only.
