Useful adjustment settings

Voluntary movie rating system (IVIPAA)
Press A/T to select "TV Guidelines", and
then press ENTER.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.
Press 4/1_ to select "Setup".
Press A/Y to select "Parental CTRL", and
then press SET/ENTER.
- Secret number setting menu displays only
when "Secret No." is set. (See page XX.)
• "V-Chip" and "Status" wi]] not be se]ectable
from the menu if you do not first configure your
secret number. (See page XX.)
Input the 4-digit secret number by using 0 -
9.
Press j,/Y to select "V-Chip", and then press
ENTER.
Press ,&/Y to select "MPAA", and then press
ENTER.
Press A/Y to adjust the item to your desired
position. "_," indicates the item is blocked.
• The setting automatically enters "Block" for any
ratings below your selection.
Example
When setting an individual content-based rating
item, do as follows:
_ Press !_ to access block content items from
the currently selected age-based rating item.
Press A/'V to select an individual item, and
then press ENTER to unb]ock (,'G" is
removed). Repeat the same steps for other
items.
Press 4 or RETURN to register after all
individual content rating kems are set.
Example
Press A/Y to adjust the item to your desired
position. "_" indicates the item is blocked.
Press RETURN.
- The setting automatically enters "Block" for any
ratings below your selection.
- If Status is net set to "On" the configuration
settings will not work. (See page XX.)
