Using external equipment
Displaying broadcasts via an HDTV tuner
To watch an HDTV tuner image, select “INPUT3” from
“INPUT SOURCE” menu using b on the remote
control unit or INPUT on the Display.
The setting is stored and can be selected in the “INPUT
SOURCE” menu.
NOTE
Each time b is pressed, the input source toggles.
If the HDTV tuner image does not come in clearly, you
may need to change the input signal type setting on the
“Input Select” menu.
See page 55 for how to select the signal type.
Below are signal types used for COMPONENT connection.
480i (60Hz), 480p (60Hz), 580i (50Hz), 580p (50Hz), 720p

1 Auto-detects video signal frequency.
2 1080i (50Hz) corresponds to a SMPTE275M signal.
(Horizontal frequency is 28.125kHz.)

You can use the INPUT 3 terminal when connecting an HDTV tuner and other audiovisual equipment.
