8-3 Battery
[1] Connecting the memory backup battery
When delivered, the memory backup battery in the JW300 control module (JW-311CU through 362CU)
is disconnected. Before using a control module, make sure to connect the battery module to the
control module, clear the memory (initialize) and set the time for the clock using a support tool (JW-
300SP, JW-15PG).

Remarks
- Connect the battery just before supplying power to the control module.
If the control module is left without power and the battery is connected, the battery life will be reduced.
