Getting Ready
The au Micro IC Card (LTE) records your personal
information such as phone numbers.
The product is compatible with au Micro IC Card (LTE)
only. You cannot use the product by inserting the au
IC-Card or micro au IC-Card for au phones and
smartphones instead.
■ When the au Micro IC Card (LTE) is not
inserted
If the au Micro IC Card (LTE) is not inserted, the
following operations are unavailable.
• Sending/Receiving a mail
• Confirming your own phone number/own mail
address
• Setting UIM card lock
Besides the above, functions which require your phone
number etc. may not be available.
Before attaching the au Micro IC Card (LTE), turn the
product off.
A Open the microSD memory card/au Micro
IC Card (LTE) cover.
B Insert slowly the au Micro IC Card (LTE)
into the au Micro IC Card (LTE) slot.
Confirm the direction of the au Micro IC Card (LTE) and
insert it in the direction of the arrow until you hear a
click and confirm it is locked.
Releasing your finger before the au Micro IC Card
(LTE) is locked may cause it to pop out.

◎ Make sure to unplug the microUSB plug of the common AC
adapter 04 (sold separately) etc. from the product when
attaching or removing the au Micro IC Card (LTE).
