Voice Call Functions
Making a Voice Call
1. Enter the area code and the phone number you wish to dial,
and then press D to dial.
If you enter the wrong number, press U to delete the
number to the left of the cursor.
Emergency Calls
1. Enter the official emergency number for your location using
the keypad and press D to dial.
Note
It may not be possible to make emergency calls on all mobile
phone networks when certain network services and/or phone
features are in use. Contact your service provider for more
information.
Emergency numbers differ depending on the location.
Before making the emergency call, make sure the phone is
turned on, the signal is strong, and a SIM card is inserted
properly.
During an emergency call, do not end the call until you are given
permission to do so.
Connection in all conditions cannot be guaranteed for wireless
phones. You should never rely solely on any wireless device for
communication during an emergency.
International Calls
1. Long press Q until a + (international dialling prefix) sign
is displayed.
2. Enter the country code, followed by the area code (without
the leading zero) and the phone number, and press D to
dial.
Adding an Entered Phone Number to the Phonebook
1. After entering a phone number, press [Options] and select
“Save Number”.
For details on creating a new entry, see “Adding a New Entry”
on page 39.
Showing or Hiding My Phone Number on the Display of the
Called Party
1. After entering a phone number, press [Options], select
“Show My ID” or “Hide My ID” and press D to dial.
