Motion Control 25
Motion Control
Your phone has a sensor which can detect motion or changes in
direction. You can change the picture being displayed or activate an
application, just by moving it in a certain way. (This is available in
portrait and cycloid position.)
For details on the settings for motion control, see “Motion Control
Settings” on page 105.
Holding the Phone Correctly
Before Using Motion Control
Make sure that the phone is in the following status.
1. The phone is open
This function is not available when the phone is closed.
2. The Screen is Turned On
This function is not available when the screen is turned off.
To turn on the screen:
Press a side volume key.
3. Keypad Lock is Deactivated
This function is not available when the keypad is locked.
To disable Keypad Lock:
Long press P.
4. “Action Settings” for Motion Control is Enabled

To Enable Quick Shortcut:
“Quick Shortcut”
→
“Switch On/Off”
→
Select “On”
To Enable Other Settings:
“Action Settings”
→
Select the desired action

Select
“On”

Hold the phone so it fits in the palm of your hand.
