Use g to select one and press

Tip X Entering Consecutive Characters Assigned to the
Same Key
Press d to advance cursor; enter next character.
Editing Characters
Use g to select a character. Press $ to delete it
and then enter another.

Tip X . Single-byte Symbols do not appear in Log List.
. Symbols are double or single-byte according to
the entry mode. (Pictographs are all double-byte.)
