Connecting GX40 to Your PC
You can use the following functions by connecting the
GX40 to your PC using a USB port* or Bluetooth
wireless technology port:
•GSM modem
• Handset Manager for GX40
• Music Manager for GX40
• Sync Manager for GX40
* Requires an optional USB data cable XN-1DC30 for
USB port connection.

To use Music Manager, DirectX9 and Windows Media

GSM/GPRS Modem
You can use GX40 as a GSM/GPRS modem to access
the Internet from your PC. Connect your phone to your
PC via Bluetooth wireless technology or USB interface.
Software installation on your PC is required. For
details, see “Software Installation” on page 142.
Modem via the USB Cable
To use the modem function using a USB cable, use the
cable mentioned above and see the instructions
accompanying the cable.
