104 Connecting GX15 to Your PC
• Infrared ports need to be placed within 20 cm of each
other and within a 30° angle.
• It is not recommended that you make or answer a call
during data communication. The operation may be
interrupted.
GSM/GPRS modem
• It is not recommended that you make or answer calls
when you are using GX15 as a GSM/GPRS modem.
The operation may be interrupted.
• When transmitting data via infrared communication,
you need to set the infrared setting to “On”. (p. 97)
Handset Manager
• Some large files may not be able to be transmitted
from the PC to the phone.
• When connecting your phone to a PC, you need to
select the connection method for PC Software. (p. 97)
• The phone may not recognize the USB data cable if it
is connected whilst an application (Camera, My
Items, etc.) is running. Connect the USB data cable
during stand-by.
• Applications (Camera, My Items, etc.) do not run
when the phone is connected to the PC by IrDA or
USB data cable.
