Connecting GX15 to Your PC
You can use the following functions by connecting the
GX15 to your PC using an infrared port, USB port* or
Bluetooth wireless technology:
GSM/GPRS modem
Handset Manager for GX15
Bluetooth wireless connection
* Requires an optional USB data cable XN-1DC30 for
USB port connection.

GSM/GPRS Modem
You can use GX15 as a GSM/GPRS modem to access
the Internet from your PC. Connect your phone to your
PC via the Infrared connection or a USB cable and
install the necessary software. For details, see
“Software Installation” on page 103.
Modem via the Infrared Connection
To use the modem function via the Infrared connection,
see “Using the Infrared Function” on page 97 and turn
the modem function on.
Modem via the USB Cable
To use the modem function using a USB cable, use the
cable mentioned above and see the instructions
accompanying the cable.

Note
Modem communication is not possible whilst
communicating with the Handset Manager via the
Infrared connection or USB cable.
