16 Getting Started

Inserting the SD/MMC Card

1. Turn off the phone.

2. Open the memory card slot cover.

3. Insert the memory card all the way in.

4. Close the cover.

SD/MMC Card Folder Configurations

Two folders entitled PRIVATE and DCIM are created

on SD/MMC cards. Picture and sound files, and video

clips are stored in the folder labelled PRIVATE. DCF*

formatted picture files are stored in the DCIM folder.

* DCF: Design rule for Camera File system

DCF formatted files can be played back on other

phones that are DCF compatible.

DCF formatted picture files are saved as per the following:

Folders:nnnVFONE (nnn is a three-digit

consecutive number)

Files: VODAnnn.jpg (nnn is a three-digit

consecutive number)
