112 Connecting GZ100 to Your PC
Infrared communication
Infrared ports need to be aligned with each other.
Infrared ports need to be placed within 20 cm of each
other and within a 30° angle.
It is not recommended that you make or answer a call
during data communication. The operation may be
interrupted.
GSM/GPRS modem
It is not recommended that you make or answer calls
when you are using GZ100 as a GSM/GPRS modem.
The operation may be interrupted.
When transmitting data via infrared communication,
you need to set the infrared setting to “On”. (p. 105)
Handset Manager
Some large files may not be able to be transmitted
from the PC to the phone.
When connecting your phone to a PC, you need to
select the connection method for PC Software.

The phone may not recognize the USB data cable if it
is connected whilst an application (Camera, Gallery,
etc.) is running. Connect the USB data cable during
stand-by.
Applications (Camera, Gallery, etc.) do not run when
the phone is connected to the PC via Bluetooth
wireless technology interface, infrared port or USB
data cable.
