Connection Type
1. Perform steps 1 to 3 in “Setting Up SMS” on
page 67.
2. Press a or b to highlight “Connection Type”, then
press to select.
3. Press a or b to highlight the connection type, then
press to select.
Optimisation
When set “On” (default), double-byte characters such
as European characters with an accent are converted
into single-byte characters and sent.
When “Off”, double-byte characters are sent as
displayed.
Please note that you may be charged double for double-
byte characters sent in an SMS when Optimisation is set
“Off”.
