Connecting GX-T29 to Your PC 115
Handset Manager
You can transmit the following items between your
phone and your PC, and can use Phonebook entries on
your PC.
Gallery files (pictures/sounds/video clips)
Phonebook entries
Short messages
Schedule entries (You can send Microsoft Outlook
schedule entries to your phone.)
To use the Handset Manager function, see “PC
Software” on page 110 and set your phone to Data
Transfer mode.

Software Installation
1. You can download the software for GX-T29 from
the FarEasTone website (http://www.fetnet.net/) by
accessing the Internet. Download and install the
software.
2. Press the buttons following the guidance.
The installation starts.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
installation.
Note
The phone may not recognize the USB data cable if it
is connected whilst an application (Camera, Gallery,
etc.) is running. Connect the USB data cable during
stand-by.
GSM/GPRS modem
It is not recommended that you make or answer calls
when you are using GX-T29 as a GSM/GPRS modem.
The operation may be interrupted.
Handset Manager
Some large files may not be able to be transmitted
from the PC to the phone.
When connecting your phone to a PC, you need to
select the connection method for PC Software
(p. 110).
The phone may not recognize the USB data cable if it
is connected whilst an application (Camera, Gallery,
etc.) is running. Connect the USB data cable during
stand-by.
Applications (Camera, Gallery, etc.) do not run when
the phone is connected to the PC Via Bluetooth
wireless technology interface or USB data cable.
