Your fax prints by a process called thermal printing. The print head applies heat to
special paper which ISchemically treated to change colour when heated to a cefialn
level. and this creates the printed text or Image.
Followthe steps below to load the sample roll of fax paper provided.

Unwrap the roll of fax paper and insert it
In the compartment.

I The roll must be placed so
that the leading edge of the paper
feeds from over the top of the roll.
(The paper is only coated on one side
for printing. If the roll is placed upside
down, the paperwill come out blank af-
ter printing.)

Pass the leading edge of the paper
through the slit betweenthe metal paper
guide and the protruding ribs, and pull It
out from the other side of the paper com-
