This chapter explains connections and changes to settings that are necessary in the event that the machine is moved.
CONNECTIONS AND SETTINGS AFTER THE
MACHINE IS MOVED
If the machine is moved to a different location or the fax number changes, check the following items and change the
following settings:
Telephone line connection, telephone line type setting, check the main power, check the date and time, change your
sender fax number setting.
CONNECTION TO THE TELEPHONE LINE
Be sure to use the provided telephone line cord
to connect the machine to the wall telephone
socket. Connect the end of the line cord that
has the core to the "LINE" socket on the
machine. Insert the other end (the end without
the core) into a telephone line socket.
An adapter is required to connect the telephone
line cable to the wall telephone socket, as
shown in the illustration.
