S-Video & Audio Output connectors:
S-Video Output connector can be used to have a better picture quality than the video output. Your TV set must have S-
video input connector for this type of connection. This connector is used for only video connection. For audio, red & white
output connectors must be used. S-video picture quality is not as good as SCART RGB connection.
¥ NOTE:
Use S-Video cable with ferrite for better performance.
Component Video & Audio Output Connectors
If you have a high-definition or digital ready TV, you may take advantage of the DVD Players progressive scan and
YPBPR (YUV) output for the highest video resolution possible.
If your TV does not accept the Progressive Scan or YPBPR (YUV) format, the picture will appear scrambled when you
try Progressive Scan or YPBPR (YUV) output on the DVD Player.
1. Connect the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT connectors on the DVD Player to the corresponding IN connectors on the TV,
using the component video cable.
2. Connect the Left and Right AUDIO OUT connectors of the DVD Player to the audio Left and Right IN connectors
on the TV using the audio cables.
Compatibility of the progressive scan TV
Some progressive scan TVs are not fully compatible with this product, which may cause image distortion. In this case,
switch the video output mode from PROGRESSIVE to S-VIDEO, Y/PB/PR or RGB.
