Track Direct Playback
1 To display the title number you want to watch, press the number
buttons (0 to 9) on the Remote while playing or stopping an image.
2 Press ûPLAY.
• The track number you entered in step 1 is played.

Playback CDs recorded with DTS sounds
• When connecting the audio equipment equipped with DTS
decoder to the digital connection:
Set the “
Audio setting” in Function Control Screen to “L+R”
when you play CDs recorded with DTS sounds. If you set “L” or
“R”, the sound will not be output because the digital signals are
not output correctly.
• When connecting the audio equipment not equipped with DTS
decoder to the digital connection:
Do not play CDs recorded with DTS sounds. This can result in the
production of abnormal sounds that can damage the speaker or
have a detrimental effect on your ears.
• When playing CDs recorded with DTS sounds, noise will be output
from AUDIO OUT jacks.

REV during playback.
• The disc begins fast scan at ×2 speed (1).
• Three speeds are available for DVD, VIDEO CDs and Audio CDs.
Each time FWDè or ÈREV is pressed, the speed of fast scan
changes in the following sequence:
1 (about ×2) 2 (about ×8) 3 (about ×32)
2 Press ûPLAY when you reach the desired point.
• On some discs, the fast scan function is disabled.
• On DVD discs, audio and subtitles are not played back during the fast
scan playback. Audio is played back only when the search speed of
the fast forward is 1 (about ×2).
• With a DVD disc, you cannot search past a title. Playback starts from
the beginning of the title.
• Depending on the audio equipment, the sound may not come out
when the fast forward is 1 (about ×2).
