VOCAL CONTROL
You can select the sound recorded on the disc.
1 Press KARAOKE SELECT to display the KEY CONTROL
screen. (The screen will not appear if a microphone is not
connected.)

• The KEY CONTROL screen will also appear when connecting
a microphone to the MIC jack on the front of the product.
•
This screen will disappear from the display automatically
when none of the buttons have been pressed for 10
seconds. (The product will remain in the Karaoke mode as
long as a microphone is connected.)
2 Press ' / " to display the VOCAL CONTROL or AUDIO
selection screen.

• The above procedure cannot be used if the disc you are playing does
not support duet vocal switching (VOCAL 2 and VOCAL 1+2 will not
appear). See the documentation that comes with the disc for details.

• In the following cases, the KEY CONTROL screen is not displayed but the
KARAOKE mode is ON when you connect a microphone to the MIC jack.
- When the product is in the VCR mode.
- When no disc is loaded.
- When the disc is loading.
- During the fast forward or the fast reverse.
- When the temporary change screen of the PARENTAL setting is
displayed.
- When you press the button on the Remote consecutively.
• The recorded sound differs depending on the discs.
• This function does not work on some discs.
