Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
A USB Flash Drive is not connected.
The connected USB Flash Drive does not have
enough space.
Internet connection is not established.
Your broadband speed is not fast enough to use the
BD-Live features.
The [BD-LIVE connection] option in the [Setup] menu
is set to [Prohibited].
The IDs list is full.
Cannot record or does not record successfully.
Timer record does not record successfully.
Stereo Audio Record and/or Playback is not present.
The connected HDMI device does not display any
picture.

Correction
Connect a FAT16 or FAT32 formatted USB Flash Drive to
the USB port (see page 24).
Secure at least 1GB free space in the USB Flash Drive for
using BD-Live features
Ensure that the unit is correctly connected to the local area
network and can access the internet (see page 22).
Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and increase
the broadband speed is recommended.
Set the [BD-LIVE connection] option to [Permitted].
Delete one of the stored ID and Sign-In with the ID again.
Check that the source you are trying to record in not copy
protected.
The power may have failed during recording.
Clock is not set to correct time.
The start time of the timer recording is past.
Two timer recordings may have overlapped, in which case
only the earlier one will record completely.
When setting the recording channel, make sure you set
the unit’s built-in tuner, not the TV’s built-in tuner.
TV is not Stereo-compatible.
Broadcast program is not in stereo format.
The A/V Output jacks on the unit are not connected to TV
A/V In jacks.
Try disconnecting then reconnecting the HDMI cable.
Try switching the power of the HDMI device off then back
on.
