5 Using the number buttons (0 to 9) on the remote control, enter
the desired chapter number. (If you enter three or more digits,
the last three digits are displayed.)
(Example) Entering chapter 27.

6 Pressing the MEMORY button on the remote control or the
ûPLAY button confirms the selected chapter number and the
player skips to chapter 27 and begins playing the chapter.
• If the entered chapter number does not exist on the disc, the
number is ignored when the MEMORY or ûPLAY button is
pressed.
VCD (video CDs) and CD (audio CDs)
Track Direct Skip
1 While a disc is playing or is stopped, enter the desired track
number using the number buttons (0 to 9) on the remote control.
(If you enter two or more digits, the last two digits are displayed.)
• This function does not operate during PBC playback of a video
CD. Use the function while disc playback is stopped.
(Example) Entering track 14.
2 Pressing the MEMORY button on the remote control or the ûPLAY button confirms the selected track
number and the player skips to track 14 and begins playing the track.
• If the entered track number does not exist on the disc, the number is ignored when the MEMORY or
ûPLAY button is pressed.
