Direct Selection of Scenes
Direct Skip Function (DVD) (VCD, CD)
This function allows you to skip directly to the beginning of any title
(track) or chapter while a disc is playing.
• Press the MEMORY button on the remote control or the ûPLAY
button within 10 seconds of pressing a number to select your title,
chapter or track. Once 10 seconds has passed, your selection is
automatically cancelled.
• The Title Direct Skip function does not operate on discs on which no
titles are recorded.
• On some discs, the Direct Skip function is disabled.

control.

2 Using the number buttons (0 to 9) on the remote control, enter a title number. (If you enter two or more digits,
the last two digits are displayed.)

3 Pressing the MEMORY button on the remote control or the ûPLAY button confirms the selected title
number and the player skips to title 2 and begins playing the title.
• If the entered title number does not exist on the disc, the number is ignored when the MEMORY or
ûPLAY button is pressed.
• Only Title Direct Skip is available in Stop mode. The Chapter Direct Skip function cannot be used.
