Connection
Caution:
• Be sure to turn off the Player and equipment to be connected before connecting.
• Read through the operation manual for the equipment to be connected.
• Be sure that the colours of the jacks and plugs match up when using a VIDEO/AUDIO cable (supplied for
Middle East only).
• Be sure to keep the Player connection cables separate from the TV antenna cable when you install the
Player, because it may cause electrical interference when you are watching television programs.
Connecting a TV with AV 1 (TV) Output and AV 2 Input SCARTS
Use the SCART cables (one SCART cable: supplied for Europe only) to connect the Player to your TV and VCR.

Position the OUTPUT SELECTOR to “VIDEO” when connecting the Player to a TV which does not support
S-VIDEO and/or RGB signal. The factory default setting is “VIDEO”.
