docomo apps password: Set a password to use for apps
provided by DOCOMO.
AUTO-GPS: Make settings for AUTO-GPS.
docomo location information: Make settings for the location
information service function of imadoco search, imadoco
kantan search and Keitai-Osagashi Service.
Send device error information: Set whether to send error
information to the server.
Remote Initialization Service: Make settings to use services
which enable you to initialize data on the handset etc. by
remote control.
Profile setting: Check or change your profile used in the
docomo service.
docomo service initial settings: Carry out the initial settings of
docomo service.
Switch USB debugging: Set whether to enable USB
debugging.
Open source licenses: Display open source licenses.
You can make settings for measuring location information.

In the home screen, display the APPS Sheet/
[Settings]/[Location]

Set to On
: When the confirmation screens for the use of location
information are displayed, select [DISAGREE]/[AGREE].

Select an item
Mode: Set a mode to measure location information with using
GPS satellites, access points of Wi-Fi or base stations for
mobile phones.
Google Location History: Display location histories if you have
registered your Google account on the handset.
: If there are recent location requests, touch one of them to
check the information on the app.
You can make settings for the security lock.

In the home screen, display the APPS Sheet/
[Settings]/[Lock & Security]

Select an item
Screen lock: Make settings for the unlock method of the
Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen) for when the power or display
is turned on or the notification to be displayed on the Welcome
Sheet (Lock Screen).
Owner info: Make settings for the owner's information to be
displayed on the Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen).
Smart Lock: Set to unlock the Welcome Sheet by swiping or
touching when Screen lock is set to an item other than [None]
or [Swipe or Touch] and the handset confirms the trusted
device, place, face, etc.
Application lock: For details nP.77 "Application lock"
Secrecy settings: For details nP.77 "Secrecy settings"
Contacts data access monitor: Restrict apps or services
which use the phonebook information.
Set up SIM card lock: For details nP.78 "Setting up SIM
card lock"
Encrypt phone: For details nP.78 "Encrypting phone"
Visible passwords: When you enter the PIN code etc., you
can display the entered characters before they turn into [].
Device administrator: Set a device management function of
apps. Some apps may not be available if the device
management function is disabled.
Unknown sources: Allow installation of apps received via
websites other than Google Play, mails, etc.
Storage type: Display the storage type.
Use secure credentials: Allow access to secure certificates
and other credentials.
Install certificates: Install encrypted certificates.
Clear credentials: Delete all credentials.
Trust agents: Make settings for apps (agents) that unlock the
Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen).
Screen pinning: Restrict the use of apps other than selected
one.
Operation methods may differ depending on the setting of
[Recent apps key]. For details on each operation method
nP.33 "History", P.34 "Recent Apps"
Apps with usage access: Set apps that can access the data
of app usage history item.
Some apps displayed in docomo service/cloud can be disabled.
The disabled apps may not be displayed in docomo service/
cloud.
When you newly download apps provided by DOCOMO, the
downloaded apps may be displayed in docomo service/cloud.
[docomo apps password]
docomo apps password is set to [0000] by default.
Location
It is necessary to set [Location] to On to measure the present
location. Some apps require that settings be made for location
information by using the apps.
[Mode]
Power consumption of the handset may increase depending on
the set mode.
If you set [Location] to On, the confirmation screens for the use
of location information are displayed. The mode to be set may
differ depending on whether you select [DISAGREE]/[AGREE].
Lock & security
[Screen lock]
The following items can be set.
None: The Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen) is not displayed.
Swipe or Touch: Set the Welcome Sheet (Lock Screen) to be
unlocked by sliding [I]. When other than [Feel Home] is
selected in Batch change lock screen/ home application, slide
[J] to unlock.
Pattern: Set a pattern which forms by linking four or more
dots.
Lock No.: Set four- to sixteen-digit number.
Password: Set four to sixteen alphanumerics or half-width
symbols including at least one alphabet.
Some half-width symbols are not available.
If you enter wrong patterns, time during which you cannot enter
the pattern gets longer according to how many times you have
entered wrong patterns.
Five times in a row: 30 seconds
10 times in a row: 1 minutes
15 times in a row: 15 minutes
20 times in a row: 60 minutes
After you have entered wrong patterns 20 times or more in a
row, you cannot enter the pattern for 60 minutes each time you
enter wrong patterns five times in a row. If you enter the correct
pattern, the count is reset.
