 The other device may not recognize the built-in IC card if there
are metallic objects between the a mark and the other device.
Remove the handset from its cover or case if the other device
does not recognize the built-in IC card, since equipping the
handset with it may influence the communication performance.
NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock
You can restrict the use of the functions and services of Osaifu-
Keitai by setting NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock.
NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock differs from Screen lock of the handset
and Set up SIM card lock.

In the home screen, display the APPS Sheet/
[Settings]/[More]/[NFC/Osaifu-Keitai
settings]/[NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock]
: Alternatively, in the home screen, display the APPS Sheet/
[Osaifu-Keitai]/[Lock Settings] to set NFC/Osaifu-Keitai
lock.

 NFC Type setting: Select an NFC type to use from among
"FeliCa/Type A/Type B (Standard)", "FeliCa/Type A" or
"FeliCa/Type B".
 Tap & Pay: For details nP.54 "Tap & Pay"
 Lock No. change: Change the lock number of NFC/Osaifu-
Keitai lock.
Tap & Pay
You can enable/disable available services by holding the
handset over the scanning device such as Osaifu-Keitai
compatible services.

ToruCa
ToruCa is an app which enables you to store economical
coupons of your favorite shops, useful information, etc. in one
place. You can retrieve one with various ways such as
downloading from mail or website, Bluetooth function or IC tag.
Retrieved information for ToruCa can be easily updated to the
latest.
For details on ToruCa, refer to the DOCOMO website.

select "docomo" folder/[ToruCa]
iD appli
"iD" is electronic money provided by DOCOMO. You can pay
easily and conveniently by holding an Osaifu-Keitai in which
"iD" is set over scanning devices at stores. Two types of card
information can be registered and you can switch them
according to the benefits etc.
For using iD with Osaifu-Keitai, setting of iD appli is required.
Expense (annual fee etc.) for using iD service may vary
depending on the credit card company.
For setting and checking iD appli overseas, packet
communication charges differ from those in Japan.

While NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock is set, [d] or [e] is displayed on
the status bar.
When the battery runs out while NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock is set,
NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock cannot be disabled. Be aware of the
battery level. If the battery runs out, disable NFC/Osaifu-Keitai
lock after charging the battery.
To use the menu of Osaifu-Keitai while NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock
is set, disable NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock.
The NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock number is not deleted even if you
initialize the handset.
When disabling NFC/Osaifu-Keitai lock, insert the docomo nano
UIM card which had been inserted into the handset when NFC/
Osaifu-Keitai lock was set.
Packet communication charges may be incurred for retrieving,
displaying or updating ToruCa.
When you retrieve ToruCa by using the Bluetooth function, you
need to set [Bluetoothでトルカを増やす ] (Increase ToruCa via
Bluetooth) to ON.
When you retrieve ToruCa from IC tag, you need to enable
[Reader/Writer, P2P] (nP.54 "NFC/Osaifu-Keitai settings").
The following functions may not be available depending on the
settings of the content provider.
 Updating
 Sharing ToruCa
 Displaying a map
 Retrieving from a scanning device
If the initial settings of Osaifu-Keitai have not been made,
ToruCa may not be retrieved from a scanning device.
