 General settings: Make settings for the whole Gmail.

Area Mail is an app to receive Early Warning "Area Mail" and
check the received Area Mail.
Area Mail is a service which enables you to receive earthquake
early warnings or tsunami warning sent from the Japan
Meteorological Agency or disaster and evacuation information
sent from national and local governments without being
influenced by congestion of the line.
When an Area Mail is sent to you, it is automatically received and
the contents of it are displayed whether or not the display is turned
on or whether or not Screen lock is set.
Area Mail may not be received or automatically displayed
depending on the condition of the handset.
･ In the following cases, you cannot receive Area Mail.
 During a call

 While the power is turned off
 While outside the service area
 During international roaming roaming
 In Airplane mode
* Voice calls in VoLTE can be received.
･ In the following cases, you may not be able to receive Area Mail.
 During packet communication
 During Wi-Fi tethering
 During USB tethering
 During software update
･ In the following cases, you can receive Area Mail but it may not
be automatically displayed.
 During packet communication
 During software update
Area Mail is a free service that does not require a subscription.

buzzer or special ringtone sounds and its
message is displayed

Drag the status bar down/select the received
Area Mail
: Alternatively, in the home screen, display the APPS Sheet/
select "docomo" folder/[Disaster kit]/[Early Warning "Area
Mail"] to check received Area Mail.

Area Mail, etc. can be set.

 Receive setting: Set whether to receive Area Mail.
 Beep tone: Make settings for the ring duration and operations
in the manner mode.
 Check screen image and beep tone: Confirm the reception
screen and the ringtone for earthquake early warning,
tsunami warning, and disaster and evacuation information.
 やさしい日本語表示 (Display with simple Japanese): Set
whether to display earthquake early warning and tsunami
warning with simple Japanese.
You can display websites via packet communication or Wi-Fi
function.

Touch the URL entry field

Enter a keyword/select a keyword
: Keywords that include the entered characters are displayed
as a list.
: Alternatively, enter the entire keyword and [Go] to search
websites.
: To reload the page: In the Chrome screen, [{]/[X]
Early Warning "Area Mail"
You can receive Area Mail without subscription to sp-mode.
You cannot receive the Area Mail (earthquake early warning)
that failed to be received again.
It is possible to receive the Area Mail (tsunami warning, and
disaster and evacuation information) that failed to be received
again because it is resent.
You can save up to 50 Area Mails
If the number of Area Mails saved on the handset memory
exceeds the maximum number to be saved, they are deleted
from the oldest one.
Settings of the earthquake early warning buzzer, ringtone
dedicated to tsunami warning, and disaster and evacuation
information, ringtone volume and vibrator cannot be changed.
