LITHOCAM DOT METER
The Lithocam is a dot
meter with the ability to
read any plate material
including polyester,
metal, and AM and FM.
The Lithocam is an
ideal quality control tool
for the printed copy
helping to identify slur
issues, ink/water imbal-
ances and print doubling. In the plate room, this dot me-
ter can identify processor problems, plate coating,
chemicals and handling issues as well as laser prob-
lems.
Code: LITHOCAM
COLOR REFLECTION DENSITOMETER
Ihara Densitometers utilize advanced microputer tech-
nology to ensure superior performance and reliability. The
densitometers have commands that are menu driven. The
design is upgradeable so you can later increase the capa-
bility. Measuring range of density is from 0.00 to 2.500.
These units will do approximately 4,000 measurements
between charges.
Accuracy is plus or minus .020. Weight is 1.2 pounds.
Size is 2 3/4” W, 2” H, and 8 1/4” L.
MODEL R710 The
R710 has quick calibration func-
tion to measure both density
and density difference.
Code: R710
MODEL R720 The R720
measures density, density dif-
ference, dot area, (Murray-
Davies or Yule-Nielson), and
dot gain. The auto function will
automatically measure density
and dot gain.
Code: R720
MODEL R730 In addition to the above functions
of the Model R720, the
Model R730 also meas-
ures ink trap, print con-
trast, hue error, gray-
ness, saturation, cast,
brightness, and dot
analysis (Print Charac-
teristics Curve). Auto
functions include den-
sity, dot gain, and ink
trap.

SPECTROPHOTOMETER
The Model S900 portable spec-
trophotometer has a variety of
functions including spectral re-
flectance, chromaticity, color dif-
ference equations and densi-
tometer functions. It has a large
sized graphic LCD for easy reading
and to display the spectral reflectance
graph. Menu driven for easy operation.
Code: S900
STOUFFER SCALES/GUIDES
CAMERAMANS 12 STEP GUIDE: Helps produce line
negatives of consistent quality, density and line fidelity
regardless of the many variables encountered in
exposure and processing. For screening halftones, it lets
user evaluate highlight, mid-tone, and shadow dots from
discreet values of gray and indicates what adjustments to
make to get the detail desired.
P
LATEMAKERS 21 STEP GUIDE: This transparent guide
serves as a gauge to evaluate the variables encountered
in the exposure and processing of lithographic plates and
photographic materials by contact.
