RS-232C port specifications
Using Custom Control Devices with this
Player
When a program
is
set, this Player can be controlled from
the custom control device using the RS-232C terminal
The power can be turned on or off (standby) and automatic
programed playback
is
possible.
Use
an
RS-232C cable cross-type (commercially available)
for the connections.
~NOTE
This operation system should be used
by
a person who
is
accustomed to using custom control devices.

Communication conditions
Set the RS-232C communications settings on the custom
control device to match this player's communications
conditions. This player's communications settings are as
follows:
Baud rate:
9,600 bps
Data length: 8 bits
Parity bit: None
Stop bit:
1 bit
Flow control:
None
Communication procedure
Send the control commands from the custom control device
via the RS-232C connector.
This Player operates according to the received command and
sends a response message to the custom control device.
