Using Broadcast Transmission
Place the original on the platen glass or in the SPF, adjust the original size, resolution, and exposure
settings as needed, and then follow the steps below.
If the machine is in direct transmission mode, change to memory transmission mode. (See page 32)
1
In Fax mode, press the BROADCAST key.
2
Enter the fax numbers of the receiving fax machines (up to 200).
[Rapid dialing, Speed dialing, Group dialing, and Address List dialing]
Each number is stored as soon as it is dialed and the next number can be dialed.
[Numerical keys]
Enter a full fax number with the numeric keys and then press the OK key. The number is
stored and the next number can be dialed.
[Redialing]
Press the REDIAL key and then the OK key. The number is stored and you can enter the
next number. Note that the REDIAL key must be used before any other numbers are
dialed.
3
When you have finished dialing the fax numbers of the destinations,
press the START key.
4
Press the START key.
The receiving machine is automatically dialed and transmission begins.
Notes
If you make a mistake in step 2, press the CLEAR key to clear the mistake.
In step 2, you cannot dial the same destination twice.
Fax numbers can be dialed using the address directory and the REDIAL key. Note, however,
that the REDIAL key must be used before any other numbers are dialed.
If two group keys are dialed that contain 50 destinations each, this means that 100 destinations
have been stored for the Broadcast transmission.
To cancel a Broadcast transmission, refer to page 39.
