Storing, Editing, and Clearing Auto Dial Keys and Numbers
Selecting Option Settings
When storing and editing rapid dial numbers and Speed Dial numbers, you can also select one of the
following settings. (See pages 47, 55) Chain dialing cannot be combined with any of the other option
settings.
When you select a setting, a checkmark appears in the option setting screen.
Initial step for selecting an option setting

Perform the storing or editing procedure for a rapid dialing or Speed
Dial number. (See pages 47, 55)
Storing F-code settings

Perform the initial step for selecting an option setting (See step 1
above), select "SUB ADDRESS" with the or key, and then press
the OK key.

Enter the sub-address (up to 20 digits) with the numeric keys and then
press the OK key.

Characters that can be entered are numbers, #, , and spaces. However, the initial
character cannot be a space.

If you make a mistake, press the CLEAR key and then re-enter the correct number.

F-code: You can store a sub-address and passcode for F-code communication. (See
below)

Chain dialing: You can select chain dialing for a rapid dialing or Speed Dial number. (See next
page)

Transmission
speed:
You can set the transmission speed to 33,600 bps (maximum speed), 14,400 bps
(high speed), 9600 bps (middle speed), or 4800 bps (low speed). The initial setting
is 33,600 bps (maximum speed).

International
mode:
You can turn international mode off or set it to mode 1, 2 or 3. The initial setting is
"off".
