Receiving a Fax
Setting the Reception Mode
The machine is initially set to auto reception. Follow the steps below to change the reception mode to
manual, or to change the mode back to auto from manual.
An extension phone must be connected to change the reception mode to manual, and the extension
phone setting must be turned on with the key operator program. (See page 148)
The setting established here remains in effect until changed or until the power is turned off.
Setting the reception mode

Press the COMM. SETTING key in the initial state of Fax mode.

Select "RX" with the or key and then press the OK key.

Select "AUTO" or "MANUAL" with the or key and then press the
OK key.
