Sending a Fax
Changing the Transmission Mode
This machine has two transmission modes: memory transmission mode and direct transmission mode.
To change modes, use the COMM. SETTING key.

Check the transmission mode, and then press the COMM. SETTING
key, select "TX", and press the OK key.

Press the or key to select the mode and then press the OK key.

Press the OK key.

This completes the setting.
Sending a Fax by Auto Dialing
To use an auto dial number, the other party's fax number and name must be stored in the auto dial
number. (See page 47)
Sending a fax from the SPF

Insert the original in the document feeder tray. (See page 21)

Make sure an original does not remain on the platen glass.
●
Insert the originals face up.
●
Check and adjust the original size, resolution, and exposure settings as necessary.
