Convenient Dialing Features
Redialing
The machine retains the last fax or phone number dialed with the numeric keys. If you need to dial that
number again, simply press the REDIAL key.

If you pressed a numeric key while talking during the previous call, the REDIAL key may not dial the
correct number.

Numbers dialed in the following operations will not be retained. The last number dialed with the
numeric keys before the operation will be dialed.
●
Broadcast transmission
●
Serial polling
●
Timer transmission
●
Group dialing
On-hook Dialing
This function allows you to listen to the line when dialing. Before dialing, press the SPEAKER key. You
will hear the dial tone through the speaker, and can then dial.

Faxes cannot be sent by memory transmission using on-hook dialing. (The fax will automatically be
sent by direct transmission.) (See page 31)

You can adjust the speaker volume (high, medium, or low) for on-hook dialing by pressing the or
key. Note that this will not change the volume setting in the key operator program.
