CONVENIENT DIALING FEATURES
Auto Dialing
This machine has auto-dial numbers to simplify the dialing process. By storing the fax number and
name of destinations that you frequently use, you can call and send faxes to those destinations without
having to dial the full number. (See page 32)
To use an auto dial number, you must first store the fax number and name of the destination. (See
page 47)
●
To prevent dialing a wrong number and sending a fax to an incorrect destination, check the message
display carefully when you store the number to make it is correct. After storing a number, print the
telephone number list and check the number to make sure it is correct. (See page 125)
Rapid dialing (50 stations)
A stored destination can be dialed by simply pressing a rapid key (01 to 50).
Up to 36 characters can be stored for the name.
Speed dialing (300 stations)
A stored destination can be dialed by pressing the SPEED key, entering a 3-digit number (000 to 299),
and pressing the START key. Up to 36 characters can be stored for the name.
Group Dial keys (Up to 50 stations*)
Multiple rapid dial numbers, Speed dial numbers, and numbers entered with the numeric keys can be
stored in one rapid key. This is convenient for communicating with a group of other fax machines. Up to
36 characters can be stored for the name of the group key.
*A total of 50 rapid keys are available for both rapid dialing and group dialing.
Address list
You can use the search character stored a rapid dialing, Speed Dial number, or group key to search for
a destination and display it in the message display. You can then dial that destination by simply pressing
the START key.
