Enter a 2-digit number from 01 to 10 with the numeric keys to identify
the passcode that will be entered in the next step, and then press the
OK key.
If you made a mistake, move the cursor to the mistake with the keys and enter the
correct number.

Enter the relay passcode (up to 20 digits) with the numeric keys and
then press the OK key.
If you make a mistake, press the CLEAR key and then re-enter the correct number.
To store another passcode, repeat steps 5 and 6.

Press the BACK key.
Note
To clear a relay passcode, follow these steps:
(1) Select "DELETE" in step 4 and then press the OK key.
(2) Enter the number that identifies the relay password that you want to clear with the numeric
keys and then press the OK key.
(3) Press the or key to select "DELETE" and then press the OK key.
Confidential Code Set
This setting is used to program confidential boxes to receive confidential faxes. Up to 10 boxes can be
programmed. Programmed boxes can be checked in the "CONF. CODE LIST". (See page 144)

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Press the or key to select "SPECIAL FUNCTION" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "CONF. CODE SET" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to select "NEW REGISTRATION" and then press the OK key.

Press the or key to highlight the unused box that you wish to
program, and then press the OK key.

Enter a name for the box (up to 36 characters) and then press the OK key.
To enter characters, see "ENTERING CHARACTERS" on page 63.

Enter a confidential box number (00 to 99) with the numeric keys and
then press the OK key.

Enter a confidential code (0000 to 9999) with the numeric keys, and
then press the OK key.
